Ruth  Most

Ruth Arlene Gibson Most, 84, of Westminster, passed away April 11, 2017 in Westminster, Colorado.
Ruth was born in Springview, Nebraska to Lawrence and Audrey Gibson on July 22, 1932. She graduated high school at Keya Paha High School in 1949 and went on to teach K-12th grades in a country school house. She later moved to Ogallala, NE to work at JC Penny’s. It was while living in Ogallala that she met her future husband, Bill Most. The first time she met Bill, she told a co-worker that she had met the man she was going to marry. Five weeks later, on May 3, 1953, Ruth and Bill were married. They were married for 63 wonderful, loving years. She worked at Sill-TerHar Ford for many years and then was active in the family businesses until her death. She enjoyed watching football, golf, bowling, movies, playing her piano, was an avid reader, card games, crossword puzzles, camping, traveling and anything that involved spending time with her family.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, LB and Audrey; a sister, Shirley Gortemaker; her husband, William L. Most and a daughter, Gina L. Stephens.

Ruth is survived by her sister Joni (Jack) Bogut of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, Lonnie Gibson of Oklahoma City, OK; sons Bob (Vicky) Most of Hudson, CO and Jon (Kerry) Most of Ft. Lupton, CO; daughter Jolon (Rick) Ruch of Westminster, CO; nine grandchildren Ryan (Laura) Ruch, Chad Ruch, Bonnie (Mark) Most Wise, Scott (Hillary) Most, Lora (Jake) Cabral, Bryon (Jessica) Stephens, Kara Stephens, Rebekah Most and Kimberly Most; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Wise, Rylan Wise, Elizabeth Wise, Raegan Ruch, Braxton Ruch, Brayden Ruch, Caden Cabral, Tysen Cabral, Logan Stephens and Jackson Stephens.

A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at Risen Savior Lutheran Church, 3031 West 144th Avenue, Broomfield, CO 80023 on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Roscoe, Nebraska, St. Johns Church at a future date.
