The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Matthew Echtermeyer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am sorry to read of the untimely passing of your loved one, Matthew. He will be missed. Losing a loved one is never easy. It may comfort you to know that God's Word the Bible holds out a sure hope of seeing your loved one again as found at John 5:28,29 as well as Acts 24:15. Condolence: I am very sorry for your loss. Matt and I worked together at LeftHand Networks, HP and NexGen Storage. Matt's sense of humor and laughter was infectious, and likely led to my frequent visits to his desk. His sales and channel experience in the IT industries was vast, and of which he used to help familiarize me with the business, when I was the new guy. And of course, he was an expert of all things watch related, which made for very interesting conversations. Again, I am very sorry for your loss, and you have my deepest sympathy at this time.

Condolence: Dear Mr. and Mrs. Echtermeyer:

I am so very sorry about your loss. Your son had become a good friend to me and my wife for many years and his passing is a terrible tragedy for all of us who knew him. Both of you and your family have my deepest sympathy.

I know that he came from a good family and that you loved him very much, as he did you. He always spoke in the most glowing terms of how much his family meant to him.

Your son was an inspiration to me. I admired all those wonderful qualities that made him the special person that he was. He had intelligence, wit, charm and a caring heart that made him a great friend.

I will always be thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know him better and to call him a friend. I will cherish his memory for years to come.

I have enclosed this link: which contains my wife's performance of this special and beautiful song 'The Old Irish Blessing' that she sang in honor of my Mother in Law, during her recent Memorial Service. We both thought this could be a special tribute to Matt as well.

In Sympathy,
Armando Borgia

Condolence: I worked with Matt at LeftHand, HP and NexGen Storage. I loved chatting with Matt. He was not only a colleague but a friend. He was a walking encyclopedia and an expert on fine watches. His positive attitude was contagious and he was always ready to poke some fun. He was well liked and respected by everyone at work. He will be truly missed. My prayers are with Matt’s family and friends.
