Obituary for Raymond Murray

Raymond J. Murray, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1928 to Michael and Catherine Murray. Ray served in the US Navy and the US Army during World War II, and ultimately found a home with the US Air Force. He served his country for 20 years. Ray married his wife, Dorothy, in 1955, she survives. Ray and Dorothy traveled the country with the Air Force, and retired in Colorado, where he worked at Shell Oil Company. Ray was transferred to Illinois with Shell and completed his twenty year tenure with the company. They moved back to Colorado after Ray's retirement.

Raymond and Dorothy have six children: Karen Floyd, Kathryn Murray, Brian Murray, Kris McKinney, Kelly (Kevin) Klette, Brad Murray; fourteen grandchildren: Colleen (Jason Berry) Floyd, Shannon Floyd, Sebastian Murray, Tatiana Murray, Hamish Murray, Jonathan McKinney, Melissa Beedle, Patrick McKinney, Kristofer Klette, Kameron Klette, Kourtney Klette, Kolton Klette, Konnor Klette, Brandon Stich; and five great grandchildren: Declan Berry, Kate Berry, Cadence McKinney, Celestine McKinney, Cecilia Beedle.
