Robert Skolnick was born in New York City, New York on August 31, 1969. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to Colorado. Robert attended Broomfield High School, and graduated from Fairview High School in Boulder in 1987. He then attended the Denver Institute of Technology where he received an Associate’s degree. Robert owned Fastlane, a slot car racing and video game business in Arvada, along with business partner, Greg Smith. They later owned a liquor store in Westminster. Robert had worked at Tires Plus in Westminster for the last 15 years.
Foosball was a passion for Robert. He played locally with friends and travelled abroad to Peru and Costa Rica to compete in foosball tournaments. Robert also enjoyed every sport – especially hockey and football. His other interests included hiking, riding motorcycles and listening to classic rock.
Robert is survived by his parents Lynn Skolnick and Margaret Ricks, son Cyrus Skolnick, daughter Ashlynn Skolnick, son Blayne Skolnick, and many extended family members and friends.
