The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Theodore "Ted" Krieger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Ted was a very important member of the Westerners for many years. I remember when I first joined the group that he was very friendly and warm and made me feel very welcomed to the group. Over the years he served many functions with the Posse and his contributions were very valuable. He related to the members, once, that after spending some time in Arizona and playing some shuffle-board, he decided to stay in Colorado and do something more meaningful which he certainly did in the Westerners.

Condolence: I knew Mr. Krieger as a young man, growing up in Broomfield when his son George and I were pals. What a home they had! Model railroads. Displays of arrowheads. Books. Music. I was also lucky enough to go on family outings with the Krieger family. They taught me to ski, among other things. Ted gave me an example of what a man with a good family, successful career and active hobbies could look like. I feel lucky to have had him as an influence in my life at an impressionable age.

Condolence: Dear Ted,
though I didn't know you personally, I can tell you that I know you in a very special way and that is through your amazing daughter Cheryl, or CK as many of us call her.
It is obvious that you must have been a great dad because you helped raise a great human in that little lady.
I know that you left suddenly and it was a shock to those who loved you so dearly, but I hope in time, they can take refuge in knowing that you had accomplished what you came here to do and were being called to something greater.
I wish you great joy in your next experience and I pray for those who will miss you each and every day.
May the blessing of your love comfort them in their grief.
With love and gratitude,
Kelly Corsino

Condolence: Thank you to the many friends who attended my father's memorial to make it so special, and for all the cards, flowers, food and donations for my mother. We miss my father terribly yet we are at peace knowing we were all with him and said our final goodbyes to him, within hours of his departure from this earthly plain. May we all meet again someday on that glory train on high, with a band and choir of heavenly angels in a joyful celebration of our reuniting. Until then, we hold you forever in our hearts. Friends, please write any memory you might have of my father, we so love hearing from you, especially my mother who was married to Ted for 66 years.

Condolence: Dad was a good provider who cared about his family. His love of Colorado and its rich history (especially railroading) rubbed off on me. The amount of energy he put into his home and garden is indicative of his love of growing things and digging in the earth - something he obviously got from his parents Conrad & Marie as my biggest memory of them is working in their yards up till the very end (Marie aged 98 still pruning her roses). Like many of us children of the 60s I regret not appreciating my parents gifts earlier, but I know we had a great caring relationship up till the end. We miss you dad.
