Life Story for Marla Wittich

Marla J. Wittich, 70, life-long resident of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Monday 7/2/18. She was born in Denver on 11/17/47 to Harold and Adele Blomberg. Marla graduated from George Washington High School and attended Emily Griffith Opportunity School. Marla married Doug Wittich on 6/29/68 and had just celebrated their 50th anniversary.

Marla loved going to water aerobics, craft fairs, and movies with her girlfriends. She also had many long-time friends from the many activities she and Doug participated in together.

Marla will be remembered for her laughter, kind spirit, and caring nature. She is survived by her husband Doug, her sister Marge (Fred) Holmquist, her brother Dave (Barb) Blomberg, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Tami Wittich Wolf.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Marla’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude’s Hospital, or a charity of choice.
