The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Marcia Van Skiver can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Shelley Slinkard
Condolence: To all of the members of the VanSkiver Family:
Marcia was one of the kindest, loving, and caring people I have ever known. She gave me the gift of having an ongoing friendship with her lovely daughter, Amy Blechinger, who emulates the same qualities, and shines with the love of Jesus.
I will miss Marcia greatly, but look forward to seeing her anew in God's kingdom, where there will be no more crying, or tears, illness, or pain anymore!
May the love and Presence of Jesus Christ The Lord fill you with all comfort and peace!! God Bless You,
Shelley Slinkard

Condolence: To the Family of Marcia Van Skiver: In the Bible at Psalms 90:10 it refers to those who live well into their 70’s or 80’s as being ‘especially strong.’ Your beloved was blessed with this strength. May that strength trickle down to family and friends helping you to cope in the days ahead. As you cherish warm memories, lean on God for ‘everlasting comfort and good hope’ 2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17, for he is close to those ‘brokenhearted’ Psalm 34:18. My deepest sympathy.
